Controversial Bishop and Evangelist Gilbert Deya has been extradited to Kenya to face charges of child trafficking
The Bishop arrived at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport today at 5 am under tight security and in handcuffs accompanied by security personnel from the United Kingdom (UK).
“He has been handed over to the CID who are preparing to take him to court,”
Inspector General of Police Joseph Boinett confirmed Deya’s arrival stating that police were preparing to take him to court.

The controversial evangelist was deported after losing a long-standing court battle against the extradition, in which he argued that it would breach his human rights to send him back to his home country.
Deya has been accused of stealing five children between 1999 and 2004 in Kenya.

He now will serve a 6 day remand in the kamiti maximum prison as he awaits chief magistrate Andayi to determine his bail term.
